After recording all day this past Saturday, we have three new songs recorded. It's exciting! The songs are "Bob Ross' Secret Bush", "You Can't Choose Your Family, But You Can Choose A Side"(which i have mentioned before), and "Ask Noah About The Boats, 'Cuz I Make It Rain". They sound very good and are much better than anything we have produced thus far. We hope to have the songs up on our myspace page in a couple of weeks or so. I will most definitely let you all know when they are up so I can talk you into listening to them.
oh and i added some neat links at the bottom of the page. check it

MACBETH TRIP!
Today was our class trip to see the play MacBeth (Shakespeare) at the IRT. The play was definitely put on very well. I was surprised by how good it was considering the short amount of time they get to rehearse. After it ended, there was a short Q and A time for the audience to be able to interact with some of the cast. Although I myself didn't ask a question, it was still very interesting and involving. We then began our tour of the rest of the theatre with a guide. Pictures were even allowed. That also surprised me alot. Our tour was cut short as we had a reservation at the famous Old Spaghetti Factory, which was only four blocks away. So we walked. YAY! exercise and fresh air! i love it. After seating myself at the table i began to look over the menu and think of what i might want to feast on. I decided on the spinach tortellini with Alfredo sauce. It was delicious and very light. I saw it fitting the occasion. I then learned i was #5. hmm. I was then stuffed to the brim with cheese bread and tortellini, we began our walk to the Mall. I had a little money to spend... sooo i spent it. theblogburnsred and I shopped at the candy store and purchased 1 1/4 lbs. of mini gummi bears for the ride home. They were most rad. The trip home was long and boring. I was tired. =[
Good food, good people, good play, and a good day.

SOCCER SECTIONALS!
As i said previously in my first blog, our soccer team drew the bi for sectionals this year. We played North Posey last Saturday. Even though we did unfortunately lose, the experience was good as usual. I had fun and that's what really matters right? To all the senior out there, I'm sorry we couldn't pick up a win for your last year. I know it was a rough day for you, but you will all go onto bigger and better things. So goodluck!

Blessthefall-Higinia
Lyrics:
If you could stay here for just
a little bit, a little while, a little bit with me
you're what makes me,
and if God could keep you with me
I'd trade just about anything
You're what makes me want to change things
I would die just to live and yet we all live to die
You're what makes me want to change,
you will not die
you will not die
you will not die
you will not die
If you could stay here for just
a little bit, a little while, a little bit with me
you're what makes me,
and if God could keep you with me
I'd trade just about anything
I'd trade anything...
Take a step further back to where you belong
Take a look at your life what have you become
I never had the chance to explain myself
I never had the chance to apologize
I never had the chance to explain myself
I never had...
You will not die
You will not die
You will not die
You will not...
I chose this video for the simple fact that it's a good song and a good video. I like the lyrics and the style/structure of the song. Even though the lead singer is no longer with them, the song is still good.
